Tonight, as part of Salon Zurcher, I had the pleasure of listening to a live jazz performance by Henry Grimes & Bobby Few. As I learned from the duo's many devoted fans, these two are veritable jazz legends who have played with all the greats from Thelonious Monk to John Coltrane. It was so fun to hear & see them in action, Few having just celebrated his 78th birthday this week! Check out the clip from their performance above, I apologize for the shaky filming and odd zoom-in moment... I was clearly distracted by the music ;)
