roses three ways with tobie whitman

Last weekend, in conjunction with Fashion Art Design Georgetown, the gallery hosted a flower arranging demonstration with Tobie Whitman of Allan Woods Flowers. An amazing teacher, florist, and friend of Rachel Farbiarz, the program was a ton of fun and complimented Rachel's work well. (Did you know some of the flowers in Memorial Hill, detail below, were taken from images of Princess Diana's funeral?) I learned so much and my arrangement is still going strong! If you know me... you know I don't always have the best luck keeping flowers alive... now I know all the tricks ;) Thanks again for a wonderful program, Tobie! It was the perfect way to kick-off the weekend and the rest of FAD Georgetown.
